Homework and Agenda Homework and agenda communication is key in student success. It is important that you sign your child’s agenda every night so that you can see what we have been doing in the classroom and any upcoming events. I check the agenda every day so if you need to speak with me you can either write a note in your child’s agenda or call me at the school. Homework– Homework for grades 4-6 cannot exceed 30 minutes per school night. Reading and other Language Arts activities such as writing are part of daily life and are not considered to be homework. Students are expected to read a minimum of 15 minutes per night. They are able to read to someone, partner read or read on their own to accomplish this goal. For the most part students should be able to finish their school work at school. Other types of homework that may be sent home throughout the school year are practice, completion and enrichment homework. Students can achieve their BEST if we work together!
